Outsourced occupational safety professional

Every employer must appoint one or more occupational safety professionals. The duty may be entrusted to an authorised legal entity where the employer lacks suitable in-house staff and technical capability. We take on that role — maintaining all documentation, deadlines, training and records, and standing with you when the inspector arrives.

What the service covers

  • Preparation and upkeep of all mandatory OSH documentation
  • Maintenance and updating of the prescribed records
  • Organising and delivering employee training
  • Tracking deadlines for periodic measurements, testing and health examinations
  • Participation in accident investigations and preparation of the reports
  • Attendance and expert support during labour inspections
  • Regular site walk-throughs with a report of identified shortcomings
  • Advice on procurement of equipment and personal protective equipment

How the process works

  1. Initial review

We establish what documentation exists, what is outdated and what is missing. You receive a prioritised list and a cost estimate.

  2. Bringing you into compliance

We prepare the missing documents and carry out the overdue measurements and training.

  3. Ongoing management

We take over ongoing deadline and record management. You hear from us before an obligation expires, not after.

  4. Support during inspection

We attend labour inspections and hand over the requested documentation, and respond to the inspection record within the deadline given.

Frequently asked questions

Must we employ a safety professional, or can we engage an external firm?

The employer must appoint a safety professional, but may entrust the duty to an authorised legal or natural person where it lacks suitable in-house staff and technical capability.

Does that transfer our liability to you?

No. Under Article 6(4) the liability remains with the employer. What you gain is the expertise, the instruments and the deadline tracking — but the signature and the responsibility for implementing measures remain yours.

What conditions must a firm meet to perform specialist OSH activities?

Under the Rulebook of 13 May 2026 a legal entity must have at least three certified professionals with a technical-sciences background and five years’ experience each, the prescribed measuring equipment and dedicated premises. An entity meeting the staffing conditions may perform all categories of specialist activity.

What does outsourcing cost?

The fee is contractual and proportionate to headcount, number of locations and activity. The law prescribes only minimum amounts for individual specialist activities (Official Gazette of RNM no. 275/19).
